  If you're asked to mention the names of nigeria's most powerful politicians, you're most likely to give a list of men only. But if you had to add a female who would it be? Who is nigeria's most powerful female politician? Personally, I think it's Patience Jonathan.

The President of Gambia, Adama Barrow’s government has released a Gamcel boss, who was accused of embezzling over eleven millions of dalasis while working at Gamcel. Mr. Seedy Jaiteh, is among the freed prisoners. The embezzlement had to do with an alleged misuse of fuel coupons totaling to over eleven million dalasis.  Mr, Jaitah, who was a Director at Gamcel,  was jailed for eleven years. He is now a free man. The government either mistaken him to be a political detainee or prisoner or it was deliberate attempt on part of the new regime to let him off the hook.  Mr. Jaiteh is not a political prisoner. A French-Canadian university student known for far-right nationalist views was charged with six counts of murder over the shooting rampage at a Quebec City mosque on Sunday . The 27-year-old suspect identified as Alexandre Bissonnette made a brief court appearance and did not enter a plea on the attack which left six people dead and 19 others wounded during evening prayers. Weeks after Apostle Johnson Suleman spoke strongly against the religious crisis in Southern Kaduna, another clergyman, Chris Okafor who is the senior pastor of Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministries (MLMM), has come out to condemn the attacks, saying Christians are not powerless as they can fight as well. A doctors in Louisiana, United States, have conducted a successful surgery to remove a rare facial tumour from a 3-year-old Brazilian girl. Melyssa Delgado Braga from Sao Paulo was diagnosed with myxoma, a very rare and aggressive tumour which weighed 5 pounds. This condition was making breathing difficult for the little girl and also was pushing her tongue to the back of her throat. In desperation, her parents reached out for help on social media and their saviour came in the form of a medical doctor.
