Rainstorm destroys school and compels pupils to study under tree in Ghana
A rainstorm last Sunday night hit the Asante Mampong Municipality in Ashanti, leading to the destruction of the Patasi-Sesease-Kokoben (PSK) MA primary school. The storm destroyed the entire six-classroom block of the school including the furniture, staff common room and a store. During a visit to the school by the Daily Graphic, pupils in classes one to six, numbering 118, were found studying under a big tree, making teaching and learning difficult. Some of the pupils are compelled to bring their own furniture.
