Well, it seems Cossy is serious about releasing a tell-all book about the scandals that go on in the movie industry. The busty actress just released the logo for her Cossy brand which she said is trademarked here in Nigeria. The logo is 'Cossylike'. UN, World Bank partner to support conflicts’ victims

The UN and World Bank have signed a new partnership to build resilience for the most vulnerable people, particularly, women, girls and children in conflict situations. According to a joint statement on Saturday, the framework was signed by UN Secretary-General António Guterres and World Bank Group President Jim Kim. The partnership is in response to global calls for the two institutions to work more closely together on prevention and reducing needs, risks, and vulnerability as the world faces a spike in violent conflict. The idea is for the two institutions to start building resilience for the world’s most vulnerable people by reducing poverty, promoting shared prosperity, enhancing food security. It is also geared at sustaining peace in crisis-affected situations.

GDF disbursed $1,000 to the family of Alhagie Boye In Gambia

Gambia Democracy Fund (GDF), would like to inform the public that on Thursday, April 20, 2017, the organization disbursed $1,000 to the family of Alhagie Boye.  Mr. Boye was recently sentenced in connection with the December 30, 2014 incident.  This amount is a direct donation from GDF. If you may recall, GDF had disbursed the same amount to the families of those sentenced in Minnesota in 2016.  GDF must make it clear that under no circumstance did these families request help.  We urge all comrades to do whatever they can, to support Mr. Boye’s family while he is away serving his sentence beginning May 9, 2017. PDP crisis: Sheriff plots membership registration ahead of convention

The Sheriff faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is set to pull a fresh fast one on the rival Makarfi faction. It is plotting a membership registration update as it forges ahead with the planned national convention, it was gathered yesterday. It may also have concluded plans to dump the peace pact facilitated by the Governor Seriake Dickson reconciliation committee. Party sources said the Sheriff-led PDP resolved to carry out a fresh registration of party members ahead of the planned national convention which is expected to usher in a new leadership for the troubled opposition party.
