Nigeria and its neighbours have received the commendation of the U.S. Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson or the effective strategies adopted to combat the destructive activities of the Boko Haram terrorists. it was reported that Tillerson, gave the commendation at the meeting of the ‘Global Coalition Working to Defeat ISIS’. NAN reports that the meeting was attended by Ministers of Foreign Affairs and senior leaders of the 68 countries of the global coalition working to defeat ISIS, in Washington, D.C. Tillerson described the coalition of the Multi-National Joint Task Force against Boko Haram as a success story that the Global Coalition Working to Defeat ISIS must build on.

With three days to the by-election for the Warri South Constituency I Seat in the Delta State House of Assembly, the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta State is parading two factional candidates for the election slated for Wednesday, April 2016. The two candidates, Prince Stanley Emiko and Mr. Demi Ejegi emerged from separate primaries, led by Chief Ayiri Emami and the Chief Adolo Okotie-Eboh’s factions.

Jonathan under attack for saying Dasuki didn't steal $2.2bn

​Condemnation on Tuesday greeted the comments by former President Goodluck Jonathan that a former National Security Adviser, Col.
